Job Description:

We are searching for a responsible, self-starter to be a member of our team. The Landscape Maintenance Labourer responsibilities include the maintenance of existing grounds with the use of landscape equipment, while following safety guidelines and completing various duties. You should also have good knowledge of common maintenance operations.

To be successful as a Landscape Labourer, you should be able to follow verbal instructions. You should constantly be expanding your horticulture knowledge, be a problem-solver, and have good communication skills.

Landscape Labourer Responsibilities:

Helping lead hand or Foreman complete daily tasks.
Assessing progress and making recommendations.
Ensuring you obey health and safety regulations at all times.
Overseeing maintenance of lawns and gardens, ensuring proper use of fertilizers, installation of softscapes, mulch and tree planting.
Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections.
Filling out spreadsheets and other documents.

Landscape Labourer Requirements:

High school diploma not necessary, (a degree in Horticulture is an asset).
Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.
On-the-job training as a landscape crew member.
Experience in a leadership role would be an asset
Ability to obey and follow through clear verbal instructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
