Description/Summary:

Qualifications:

3 years of experience in the tree care industry
can demonstrate advanced tree care knowledge and climbing skill
confident in complex removals and pruning of mature, hazardous trees, and advanced rigging and felling techniques
demonstrates clear leadership skills
clear and effective team communication skills
always demonstrates safe and efficient operation of tools, equipment and vehicles
can produce a clean driver abstract
able to exceed client and business expectations at the same time
Own PPE including complete arborist fall protection

The following are considered assets to the position:

ISA Certified Arborist
Experience with providing sales information while on site
Experience driving heavy vehicles, e.g., 4500kg, and trailers (ARZ)
Current First Aid/CPR

Job Duties:

plan and perform various activities related to tree care work orders on residential and commercial properties
show/explain advanced tree knowledge when required,
show advanced climbing, pruning, removal, stumping/stump grinding, cabling, fertilizing, and planting
organizing, planning, and execution of work orders, directing others
safely and efficiently operate brush chipper, stump grinder, chainsaws, aerial lifts, and cranes on occasion
drive medium duty trucks while towing trailers
physical: bending/twisting, climbing, kneeling, heavy lifting, pushing/pulling, standing, walking and use of upper extremities are required
