Do you love the outdoors, love working with great people and have an excellant understanding of proper horticulture, landscaping and maintenance techniques in residential settings.

Our garden maintenance crew is a crucial part of our team. We are looking for people who know a weed from a perennial, and who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty to keep our customers' properties looking their best.

We work from Sept - December. Working days are from Monday to Friday.

Job Requirements

You have extensive knowledge of perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs
Experience working blowers and how to work with them effectively and with a team
Pest management
Experience planting trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals
Fall clean up
Build gardens – site setup, digging and wheelbarrowing, soil amending and mulching
You have 3 years proven working experience with a landscape team
Knowledge of weeds
Work fast and efficiently
Follow on-site health and safety procedures
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more, and repetitive tasks
High attention to detail
2 years post secondary horticulture education or 3 years minimum work related experience
Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Experience in pruning and hedge trimming
Problem-solving skills necessary to solve team and/or client issues on site
Hard working, self-motivated and a strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Must have a vehicle to get to client sites
Must be triple vaccinated

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
