Job Title: Groundsman / general labourer and machine operator for tree company

We are a small local tree service company, working mostly within the GTA and surrounding area, looking to add another member to our team IMMEDIATELY. We specialize in tree and stump removal, pruning, lot clearing and tree planting. We are located at the north end of Bradford and meet at the yard everyday before heading to work in work vehicles.

Seasonally full-time employment (part-time over the winter)
Work 5-6 days a week (some weekends)
wage based on experience

Job Requirements:

Valid DZ drivers licence and access to personal transportation to get to the yard
Can safely operate a chainsaw
Experience towing a trailer
Good physical condition - must be able to lift 60lbs and have the stamina to work in physically demanding conditions for extended hours if required
Punctual
Safety cautious
Related experience operating forestry equipment and machines
Friendly with customers (English speaking)

Preferred assets (not required):

Experience working in landscape, forestry or arborist type jobs
Small engine and heavy equipment operation experience
Knowledge of knot tying, tree climbing and rigging techniques

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
